Yes — the 2022 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2022 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights smooth performance, comfort, and a spacious cabin, while also pointing to a generally dependable ownership experience. The repeated praise for its mature, straightforward formula suggests you can count on it for everyday use if you prioritize proven character over the newest tech. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is buying a neglected example, so condition and maintenance history matter more than chasing the lowest price.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chrysler 300?

At 67.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, signs of repair quality, and whether the car’s comfort and electronics still work as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chrysler 300?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 669 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.63% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,084, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $23,084 sits slightly below last year's $24,991.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favorable point, but it also means future resale gains may be limited unless the market tightens. If you plan to sell later, a well-kept example with clean history should hold up better than one with accident records or visible wear. Strong condition and broad owner appeal matter most when a model is already in a mature part of its lifecycle.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,770, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,084 average.
• It offers comfort, quiet, and easy-to-use tech.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $28,841, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,084 average.
• It adds a final-year V8 performance boost.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-liked, comfortable full-size sedan at a softer price than newer examples. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better secondary path; if you want more performance and can spend more, the 2023 is the upgrade to consider.
