Why it stands out
The 2022 Chevrolet Equinox stands out in the crowded compact SUV market by balancing comfort, fuel efficiency, and modern technology. Despite being a bit longer in the tooth, as it last underwent a significant redesign in 2017, it introduced several updates in 2022, including enhanced styling, an RS trim level offering sporty aesthetics, and an improved infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, delivering decent torque for urban driving, which owners appreciate.
However, while it competes well with rivals in terms of overall comfort and value, drivers seeking a spirited driving experience might notice its lack of horsepower at higher speeds. The interior design, while functional and user-friendly, falls short of the more innovative designs seen in competitors. Nevertheless, with a solid mix of safety features and good fuel economy, the Equinox remains a practical choice for those prioritizing reliability, modern conveniences, and a smooth ride.

This vehicle had all of the features I wanted, there are others I never considered, all are appreciated. The only thing I have found it is missing is the programable driver’s seat. However, I did not have this option on my list and only looked for it afterwards. It is not difficult to adjust the seats :) I cannot compare to you ther models as I have not taken the time to compare. I love this vehicle. Good gas mileage, lots of get up and go!
