The haggling overall about my trade in wasn’t good business. They’re so busy trying to lowball you on your trade in. I was given $3,800, only for them to turn around the next, and are selling the same truck with a markup of $1,900 more. I’ Never purchase another vehicle from them again.

I have never been to a dealership so welcoming and family oriented. When I arrived, my salesman, David Crain and the manager, Mr. Neal were waiting for me. They greeted me with the upmost respect and concern. My experience was a great one and I have expressed it to the many people I know. They did contact me with something of price. However they were not ready to make a deal with me. I’m not going to pay that high end prices for a used vehicle. However we did purchase a vehicle from the dealer a few years ago and had no problem fixing the price to make a deal. The vehicle was great and had no problems. They continued to reach out to us every few months to make sure we were still satisfied and vehicle was still working properly. I like that Mangemant from the dealer. It’s great service after the sale. However things must have changed over the years.

My husband and I were super excited to find this dealership with the vehicle exactly as we wanted. Received an auto reply email , then a follow up email about how I needed to make an appointment because the vehicle wouldn’t last long( despite already being on lot for 80 days). I didn’t receive a phone call or any interest in my response that I wanted to buy a vehicle on their lot. My husband left a voicemail for the sales rep to call us back. I had even informed the sales professional that I have excellent credit and would be making a substantial down payment through email. Against our better judgment, we made the 3&1/2 hour ride to Hammond,LA. On site, a wonderful and very knowledgeable sales consultant found us. He had fabulous people skills and definitely had us ready to buy. Upon negotiations, his sales manager sent him back with the same price as car guru, not penny difference. Insulting to my time and certified check ready to be handed over to Ross Downing. ..we left

’m a Christian and like taking actions in decency and order. But my concerns were ignored by Ross Downing team of people and not handle properly. I’m a resident of Ponchatoula, LA and decided to look for my handicap brother a car. We were told in the beginning before purchasing the car cash money that it was a reliable car. We took the Sales Person at his word and test drove and brought the car. In less than a month the car ran hot and we had to get the car towed to Ponchatoula Automotive and was told the Radiator Fan needed to be replaced $750.00 job. We called the Sale person back at Ross Downing to inform him and was not treated Properly. So, we went ahead and got the car fix and said that we will file a complaint later to the CEO of Ross Downing. We spoke to the Complaints department and shared what happen to us and also, we emailed her all necessary documents to prove our case but nothing was done. We are very shock /disappointed in the service we received from Ross Downing Team Members.

I drove my VW 2000 TDI Jetta to Hammond with the thought of driving the Prius back. The dealer was superb. They cleaned and serviced and checked out the Prius. I signed all the documents necessary, transferred insurance, got license, obtained a one year extended warrantee, and drove the Prius back to New Orleans. The dealer was courteous, efficient and pleasant to work with. Great service and experience. I could not be more pleased.

We contacted them about the 2013 Chevy Suburban. Told them we would like to purchase the car. They had just received it. still had to put it through inspection and flood check. we said we want to purchase it. they contacted us and said it passed and no flood damage. It just needed tires and they would get them put on it. We explained that I was in Texas and my husband was in Ca on business. We could drive to pick it up or I could fly. They asked us to fill out finance paperwork, we did. We qualified and We agreed on an interest rate and a $2,000 down .payment. We were asked to give the credit card payment over the phone..We did. We texted them the information. They asked if we wanted them to overnight the paperwork. I said I wasnt sure if we were going to drive or fly. They said when can you be here. I said Sunday or Monday. They said they are closed on Sunday so they would hold it until Monday and we could sign all paperwork then. Because Rich would have to have an original signature to be on the loan. I asked specifically, no one can buy it before we get there can they? No no no, It's yours. I will mark it sold, get it cleaned up for you, make sure its ready for you when you get here. This was Saturday morning. Saturday around 5 pm I got a call they sold the suburban! I said I researched this car, waited for it to be inspected and gave you my credit card and you sold it! Their response....No actual money had exchanged hands...they didn't charge the card. Someone walked in, in person and they sold the car that they had already committed to us! There was no big apology. I spoke with the Sales Manager. That was so frustrating. Just a lot of excuses. I expected more integrity. I called the owner. I was told he would call me back. He did not. I don't usually leave negative comments. In fact I make it a priority to post deserved compliments...in this case- this was very unfair and very low integrity. I'm Highly disappointed.

The rep's were excellent but the car had not been detailed, reeked of cigarette smoke, the interior and exterior were not clean, headlight lens were yellow. I was surprised they allowed the car to show in this condition.

I love the car! I just wish the deal me and sales guy made was made........ I also came in already preapproved. The finance department did find another lender with a lower interest, but this only came because I been there literally all day, and it was near the end of their day. Instead of the finance department keep pulling my credit with companies with higher interest they couldve just went with lower interest bank from jump instead of trying to haggle. I was going get the car.....just didnt need all the extra.
