Used 2022 Buick Enclave for Sale nearTrenton, NJ

How much does the 2022 Buick Enclave cost?

Prices have softened 14.55% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,830 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Buick Enclave earns a 4.7/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

User feedback consistently points to a smooth and quiet ride, a spacious interior, and strong safety features. Reviewers also describe it as comfortable with a luxurious feel, which fits the Enclave’s relaxed three-row family-SUV mission.

The trade-offs are clear: the expert review calls out poor value for money and poor fuel economy. That means you’re getting comfort, space, and a premium-feeling cabin, but you should weigh those strengths against the cost of ownership and efficiency.

The market still shows 31.4% good or great deals, so there are opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights a smooth, quiet, and comfortable SUV that many owners feel good about living with over time. The review summary also points to excellent safety features and a luxurious feel, both of which tend to support confidence in daily use.

The expert review reinforces that impression by describing the Enclave as quiet and drama-free, with a premium ride and strong serenity in the cabin. It also notes that long-term running costs should be pretty reasonable, and your first maintenance service is gratis.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that fuel use and repair costs can still weigh on satisfaction if you drive a lot or want low operating expenses.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and overall condition, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on comfort and equipment working as intended. Pay close attention to trim content so you know whether the vehicle has the features you want.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Essence trim is the base version, while Premium and Avenir add more equipment and a more upscale presentation. The Avenir stands out with unique grille and exterior details, plus upgraded interior trim and seat stitching, while the base trim misses some of the richer comfort and convenience touches.
• Powertrain: The Enclave uses a 3.6-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available on all trims.
• Safety package: Buick Driver Confidence Plus is standard on all Enclaves and includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keeping assistance with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. Premium adds enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert.
• Infotainment: Essence gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus wireless phone charging. Premium and Avenir add navigation, and the system can pair up to 10 devices with two smartphones active at once.
• Fuel efficiency: The Enclave returns 21 mpg combined in front-wheel-drive form and 20 mpg combined with all-wheel drive.

Which 2022 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2022 Buick Enclave is offered in 3 trim levels: Essence, Premium, Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Essence: This is the best-value choice if you want the Enclave’s core strengths without paying for the upper trims. You still get the standard safety tech, the V6 powertrain, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a comfortable three-row layout.
• Premium: This is the trim to target if you want a stronger mix of comfort and convenience. It adds features like navigation and more advanced safety and driver-assist equipment, making it a smart middle ground for many shoppers.
• Avenir: This is the most upscale version, with the richest styling and the most premium-feeling cabin details. It suits you best if you want the Enclave at its most luxurious and are willing to pay for it.

The standard safety package is a major plus across the lineup, but Premium and Avenir bring extra driver-assistance features that may be worth seeking out.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,830 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,251, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $26,251 sits slightly below last year's $30,723.

That price movement suggests the Enclave has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you purchase near the lower end of the current range, you may reduce the amount of value left to lose over your ownership period.

The model’s comfort, space, and strong owner satisfaction can help keep demand steady among used buyers. That matters because vehicles with a loyal audience tend to hold attention better when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave safe?

The 2022 Buick Enclave earns an Acceptable rating in the updated IIHS side-impact test and Good ratings in the rest of its crash tests. It earns four-star ratings for rollover resistance from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Buick Driver Confidence Plus is standard on all trims and includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keeping assistance with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights.

Premium adds enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert. The main caveat is the IIHS side-impact result, which is weaker than the rest of the Enclave’s crash-test performance.

Should I buy a 2022 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Buick made standard driver-assistance and safety technology part of the 2022 update.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $22,730, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $26,251 average.
• It is roomy, quiet, and upscale.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the updated styling, newer tech, and standard safety equipment. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the value play, but you give up the freshness and added standard equipment that make the 2022 easier to recommend.
