Used 2022 BMW X5 for Sale nearHouston, TX

How much does the 2022 BMW X5 cost?

There are 2,518 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 BMW X5 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 BMW X5 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, performance, and luxurious feel, and they also highlight the smooth ride and high-quality interior. That lines up well with its role as a luxury midsize SUV that blends strong performance with a refined, comfortable cabin and plenty of room for everyday use.

With 34.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 BMW X5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for the smooth ride, strong engine, and upscale cabin that many drivers feel confident living with over time. Some owners mention concerns about fuel economy and confusing package choices, but the overall tone is that the X5 feels well put together and satisfying to own.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about day-to-day enjoyment and more about higher ownership costs as the vehicle ages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 BMW X5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still review the history report carefully and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Put inspection priority on overall condition, since a luxury SUV like this can be expensive to refresh if wear items have been neglected.

It also makes sense to focus on how the cabin, electronics, and maintenance records line up with the asking price, especially if you want a cleaner example that should hold up better over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 BMW X5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,518 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.45% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,321, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 BMW X5's resale value?

The current average of $35,321 sits slightly below last year's $41,289.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that pricing discipline matters: a well-kept X5 with strong documentation should be easier to move than one priced above the market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 BMW X5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $31,057, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $35,321 average.
• It offers strong family usefulness with a roomy cabin and broad everyday appeal.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market mix of owner satisfaction, deal availability, and cleaner inventory. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2021 is the better value path, especially if you find one in similarly good condition.
