The 2022 BMW X1 makes terrific use of its subcompact SUV footprint. It provides generous room for passengers as well as up to 58.7 cubic feet of cargo space, which is excellent for its class. The Convenience Package adds an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, hands-free power liftgate, proximity keyless entry, and a panoramic moonroof. Finally, the Premium Package adds all of the content from the Convenience Package, as well as genuine leather, a heated steering wheel, navigation, and a head-up display.

Standard driver assistance features include automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, automatic high beams, and front-and-rear parking sensors.
