It gives you a premium-feeling cabin with a panoramic moonroof, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 9-inch touchscreen, while the seats and interior materials help it feel more upscale than its size suggests. The 2021 Volvo S60’s safety story is a major part of its appeal, with standard City Safety collision avoidance and IIHS Top Safety Pick+ recognition for the third generation in 2021 and 2022. For used buyers, that combination of strong safety equipment and a comfort-focused design suggests a car that should age well if it has been maintained properly. Long-term ownership risk is best managed by checking service history carefully and confirming that the car’s safety and convenience features are working as intended.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Volvo S60?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks the car’s electronics, safety systems, and interior condition. A clean, well-kept example is the kind of used S60 that best preserves the model’s premium feel.
