There are 1,039 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Nautilus a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Lincoln Nautilus earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the luxurious feel, quiet cabin, comfortable ride, and spacious interior, and they also like the tech features that make it a strong daily driver. The overview frames it as a comfort-first luxury SUV with elegant styling and an approachable, premium cabin.

The trade-offs are poor handling and sluggish touchscreen response, along with poor value for money. Even so, if you want a refined, relaxed luxury crossover rather than a sporty one, it fits that use case well.

The market still shows 35.6% good or great deals, so there are worthwhile listings to find.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Nautilus reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a luxurious feel, a quiet cabin, and a comfortable ride, while also highlighting that drivers appreciate the tech features and spacious interior. That combination suggests a vehicle you can count on for comfortable daily use over the long haul.

The expert drive notes reinforce that impression by describing the Nautilus as pleasant in nearly all driving scenarios, with smooth and controlled acceleration. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the vehicle’s condition and electronics have been maintained well.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Lincoln Nautilus?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on electronics, cabin controls, and any features that may have seen heavy use. Focus on overall condition, because this model’s appeal depends heavily on a quiet cabin, comfortable seating, and well-functioning tech.

Which 2021 Lincoln Nautilus trim should I buy?

The 2021 Lincoln Nautilus is offered in 3 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, and Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the best-value choice if you want the Nautilus experience without stretching the budget. It already brings the large 13.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument panel, heated front seats, and a long list of comfort and convenience features.
• Reserve: This is the trim to target if you want the biggest step up in luxury feel. It adds genuine leather, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and the upgraded audio system.
• Black Label: This is the top choice if you want the most upscale version and the strongest available powertrain. It adds the twin-turbo V6, standard all-wheel drive, adaptive suspension, 21-inch wheels, and the most comprehensive driver-assistance package.

The standard CoPilot360 package is broad, but Black Label gets the most complete safety and driver-assistance content.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lincoln Nautilus?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,039 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,835, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lincoln Nautilus's resale value?

The current average of $24,835 sits slightly below last year's $28,909.

That price movement suggests the Nautilus has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned than someone who paid closer to the original new-car pricing.

The current pricing also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on trim, mileage, and condition. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should remain easier to move than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Nautilus safe?

The Nautilus earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard CoPilot360 suite includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Available upgrades add adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, surround-view parking monitor, and adaptive headlights that bend with the road.

One caveat is that the standard backup camera is described as low-quality, especially in low-light situations. That makes it worth checking the camera and parking aids during your test drive.

Should I buy a 2021 Lincoln Nautilus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 stands out for its comfortable, upscale cabin and easy-to-use tech.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $29,477, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $24,835 average.
• It adds a more polished, aging-gracefully feel with continued emphasis on style and comfort.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2021 is the smarter buy because pricing is softer and inventory is healthy. If you’re willing to pay more for the next model year, the 2022 is the better path for shoppers who want the newer-year alternative.
