What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Lexus LS?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a careful pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the car’s condition matches the listing. Pay close attention to signs of prior damage, uneven wear, and any issues with the updated infotainment and comfort features, since those are the kinds of details that can affect your ownership experience. A clean, well-maintained example is the safest path if you want the LS’s luxury and refinement to pay off.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lexus LS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 126 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $51,690, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lexus LS's resale value?

The current average of $51,690 sits slightly below last year's $52,072.

That small decline suggests the market has softened a bit, but not enough to signal a major drop in desirability. For a future seller, that kind of stability can be helpful because it points to predictable pricing rather than sharp swings. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should have a reasonable shot at preserving value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Lexus LS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the most balanced version of this sedan, the 2021 is the one to focus on because it combines updated tech, strong owner satisfaction, and stable pricing. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can still compare nearby years, but the 2021 gives you a compelling mix of value and refinement.
