Used 2021 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid for Sale near Terre Haute, IN

The Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid competes with a number of other compact gasoline-electric hybrid cars, including the Honda Insight, Kia Niro, Toyota Corolla Hybrid, and the Toyota Prius Prius. It got a pretty extensive refresh last year, so there’s not much to note for 2021. The only powertrain offered on the Ioniq Hybrid combines a 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine, a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, a 32-kilowatt electric motor, and a 1.56-kilowatt-hour battery pack. It’s good for 139 system horsepower, but you probably care more about the fuel economy: as high as 57 mpg city, 59 mpg highway, and 58 combined mpg. You can also go a whopping 690 miles between fill-ups, according to Hyundai. Hyundai continues to sell the Ioniq Hybrid in Blue, SE, SEL, and Limited variants. The Blue comes standard with 15-inch eco-minded alloy wheels, projector headlights, and an 8-inch infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are newly standard for 2021. Stepping up to the SE gets you a 10-way power driver’s seat, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a garage door opener. 17-inch alloy wheels are optional. The SEL comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, a power sunroof, and Qi wireless device charging. The Limited trim level bundles power-folding side mirrors, puddle lamps, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, rear-seat HVAC vents, leather upholstery, memory settings, premium door sill plates, a Harman Kardon sound system that includes a subwoofer, and LED ambient interior lighting. The Limited’s nicer infotainment system does include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but it isn’t wireless, unlike the smaller system in lesser Ioniq Hybrids. Hyundai packs the Ioniq Hybrid with plenty of safety features. All trims come with a reversing camera, forward-collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, driver attention warning, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and front and rear parking sensors are extra-cost features. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) hasn’t evaluated any variant of the Ioniq, yet. Meanwhile, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave the Ioniq Hybrid great marks but did not evaluate the crash-avoidance features. The Ioniq Hybrid is among the most fuel-efficient ways to get around, and it’s wrapped up in an affordable and practical package.
