Used 2021 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2021 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 5.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 829 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Honda Ridgeline earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, ride quality, impressive features, spacious interior, and innovative truck bed and cargo space. The Ridgeline’s use case is especially appealing if you want a midsize pickup that feels polished and easy to live with every day rather than one built around maximum capability.

The main trade-offs are its limited towing and payload capacity, along with the lack of alternate bed or cab configurations. Even so, the market still shows healthy interest, with 36.4% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2021 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a reliable, dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with many drivers describing it as a truck they can count on for everyday use. The expert evaluation also emphasizes its smooth, refined, and practical character, which supports the sense that it is built for long-term regular driving rather than constant compromise.

Honda also includes a maintenance perk in the ownership experience, with the first scheduled maintenance visit on the house. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the concept and more about how well a specific truck has been maintained and used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Honda Ridgeline?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean title and accident-free past matter more than mileage alone on a used truck. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the bed, cabin, tires, brakes, and suspension, since those areas reveal how the truck was used. Focus on overall condition and equipment completeness, especially if you want the Ridgeline’s everyday usability to stay intact.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Sport is the only trim with cloth seats, and it skips blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning. Higher trims add more comfort and convenience, while the HPD Package can be added to any version for a more aggressive look.
• Powertrain: Every Ridgeline uses a 280-horsepower V6 with a nine-speed automatic and standard torque-vectoring all-wheel drive. It is smooth and refined, but it is not built for rock-crawling, and its modest ground clearance and shallow angles limit off-road ambition.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and lane-centering assistance. Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning is standard on all but the Sport, and top trims add automatic high-beam headlights.
• Infotainment: Every Ridgeline gets an 8-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, text messaging, HondaLink connected services, and USB charging ports. Higher trims add SiriusXM, HD Radio, navigation, voice recognition, traffic information, a premium sound system, and wireless smartphone charging.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel-economy figure is stated in the available data.

Which 2021 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2021 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, RTL, RTL-E, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the value play if you want the Ridgeline’s core strengths at the lowest entry point. You still get the V6, standard all-wheel drive, the 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Honda Sensing, but you give up some convenience and safety upgrades found higher up the range.
• RTL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more comfort and convenience without moving too far up the price ladder. It is the better choice if you want a more complete daily driver and can live without the top-end extras.
• RTL-E: This trim is for you if you want a more upscale Ridgeline with more of the tech and convenience features that make long drives easier. It makes sense if you plan to keep the truck for family duty and want a richer feature set.
• Black Edition: This is the most distinctive choice if you want the most premium appearance and equipment in the lineup. It suits buyers who want the most fully dressed Ridgeline and are willing to pay for it.

Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning is standard on all but the Sport, so that trim deserves extra scrutiny if safety convenience matters to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Honda Ridgeline?

The market looks moderately favorable if you are a selective buyer.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 829 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.61% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,109, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $27,109 sits slightly below last year's $28,721.

That softer pricing suggests the Ridgeline is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can help you enter ownership at a better value. For a future seller, that also means resale expectations should be grounded in the current market rather than last year’s higher average. If demand stays steady, the Ridgeline’s practical appeal should help support used-market interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2021 Honda Ridgeline earns standard Honda Sensing driver assistance, including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and lane-centering assistance.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

That suite gives you a solid baseline of active safety tech, and the truck also includes a multi-angle reversing camera. Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning is standard on all but the Sport, and top trims add automatic high-beam headlights.

One caveat is that the expert drive exposed a false alert from adaptive cruise control, which triggered unnecessary warnings and braking in traffic. That means you should treat the driver-assistance system as helpful support, not something you can fully trust without attention.

Should I buy a 2021 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings a freshened look and stronger truck-like presence without losing everyday usability.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $25,737, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $27,109 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and better driving dynamics over maximum capability.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $29,366, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $27,109 average.
• It carries over the refined, unibody-based formula with little change.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, freshness, and everyday usability, the 2021 is the smart default. If your priority is spending less, the 2020 is the better value path; if you want a newer-feeling truck and are willing to pay more, the 2022 is the alternative to compare.
