Owners consistently praise the high-tech features and smooth driving experience, and they also call out strong performance in different weather conditions along with a sense of reliability and safety. Is the 2021 Audi A6 reliable?

The review feedback also points to reliability, dependable performance, and a trouble-free feel in everyday use, especially when weather gets challenging. At the same time, some owners mention wear and tear and past accident records, so used buyers should focus on condition and history rather than assuming every example has been equally well cared for. For long-term ownership, the biggest risk is buying a car with hidden damage or deferred maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Audi A6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or repairs that don’t match the rest of the vehicle. Because some owners mention wear and tear, it’s smart to focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and how well the car’s technology and comfort features are working. A careful pre-purchase inspection matters most if you want to avoid surprises after you buy.

What is the 2021 Audi A6's resale value?

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer now but may temper what you recover later as a seller. If you buy at a strong price and keep the car in good condition, you give yourself a better chance of limiting depreciation pain. The model’s premium positioning and steady demand for well-equipped luxury sedans can still support future interest from shoppers.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.25/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.25/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of value, satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2021 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings near the low end of the range and compare them carefully against nearby model years, since the market still gives you room to be selective.
