Used 2020 Toyota Supra for Sale nearDallas, TX

How much does the 2020 Toyota Supra cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 173 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Toyota Supra a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and an expert rating of 7.8/10, it lands as a strong choice if you want a sports car that prioritizes driving enjoyment. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

The 2020 Toyota Supra is framed as a long-awaited return, and the overview emphasizes its sharp handling, fun-to-drive character, and performance-first mission. The trade-offs are clear, though: the cabin design is criticized for poor ergonomics, and the car does not feel especially special to some buyers because of its heavy BMW influence.

For you, that means the Supra makes the most sense if you want a focused two-seat sports car and care more about driving feel than everyday practicality. 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Toyota Supra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview and expert notes both point to a car that delivers the kind of performance and handling buyers expect from a sports coupe, with the expert review also describing it as a well-sorted driver’s car.

The performance notes emphasize that the chassis dynamics and power delivery are right, and the car’s track-focused setup suggests it is engineered to be used hard. The cost-effectiveness notes also point out that Toyota kept the price down by sharing major components, which can help simplify the ownership equation.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright capability and more about living with a specialized sports car that may be more demanding than a mainstream daily driver.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Toyota Supra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a performance car like this, since you want to confirm that the drivetrain, brakes, tires, and electronics all match the seller’s description. Pay close attention to cabin condition and control ergonomics, because the interior layout is one of the car’s more debated traits.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim comes with 19-inch wheels, Michelin high-performance tires, LED head- and taillights, remote keyless entry, 14-way sport bucket seats, push-button start, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, a 6.5-inch touchscreen, and a suite of driver-assistance features. The Premium adds heated leather seats, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a head-up display. The Launch Edition is essentially a Premium with unique appearance details and limited production.
• Powertrain: The car uses a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine with a twin-scroll turbo, making 335 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. It uses an 8-speed automatic transmission and sends power to the rear wheels, with no manual transmission option.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning with steering assist, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, and rain-sensing wipers. Standard safety equipment also includes a backup camera, traction control, a tire-pressure monitoring system, and front- and side-impact airbags. The available Driver Assist Package adds adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The standard system uses a 6.5-inch touchscreen, while the Premium and Launch Edition get an 8.8-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay is included on the Premium, and wireless device charging is also available on the higher trims.
• Fuel efficiency: The car returns 24 mpg city, 31 highway, and 26 combined.

Which 2020 Toyota Supra trim should I buy?

The 2020 Toyota Supra is offered in 3 trim levels: 3.0, 3.0 Premium, Launch Edition.

Here's the short version:

• 3.0: This is the value play if you want the Supra experience at the lowest entry price. You still get the core performance hardware, the 6.5-inch touchscreen, and the standard driver-assistance suite, so it covers the essentials well.
• 3.0 Premium: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds heated leather seats, a 12-speaker JBL audio system, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay, a head-up display, and the larger 8.8-inch touchscreen.
• Launch Edition: Choose this only if you want the limited-production appeal and the unique appearance touches, since it is basically a Premium with special cosmetic details.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, while the Driver Assist Package is available separately on all trims.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 173 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,709, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Toyota Supra's resale value?

The current average of $49,466 sits slightly below last year's $49,805.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than volatile. For you as a future seller, that can be a good sign because it points to predictable pricing instead of a sharp drop in value.

The car’s strong enthusiast appeal and performance-first identity should help keep buyer interest steady. If you maintain it well and keep the condition clean, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Toyota Supra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It marks the Supra’s long-awaited return with sharp handling and standout performance.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $47,887, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $49,466 average.
• It adds two new engines, including a more affordable option.

The bottom line: If you want the original return-year Supra with strong performance and stable pricing, the 2020 is the one to target. If your priority is spending less, the 2021 is worth a look because it broadens the lineup and comes in below the 2020’s average price.
