Used 2020 Toyota Supra for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2020 Toyota Supra cost?

Prices are up 1.79% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 173 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Toyota Supra a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Toyota Supra earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

It is presented as one of the year’s most eagerly anticipated cars, and the driving notes emphasize that it delivers better performance than before. You also get the kind of sharp handling and fun-to-drive character that suits a sports car buyer who values driving enjoyment over everyday practicality.

The main trade-offs are its poor ergonomic design and the sense that it does not feel especially special, despite the attention-grabbing return of the nameplate. That makes it a strong fit if you want a focused sports car with serious pace and handling, but less compelling if you want a cabin that feels especially polished or distinctive.

Only 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than especially bargain-heavy.

Is the 2020 Toyota Supra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The car’s appeal is rooted in its performance-first setup, with a turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine, rear-wheel drive, and a chassis tuned for driving enjoyment. The expert notes also frame it as a car that rewards focus and feels especially rewarding when you are pushing it hard.

It returns 24 mpg city, 31 highway, 26 combined, which helps keep day-to-day running costs in check for a sports car. The first four years of Apple CarPlay coverage are also handled by Toyota, which softens one ownership annoyance early on.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is that the car’s specialized, performance-focused design may make condition and maintenance history matter more than they would on a mainstream coupe.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Toyota Supra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a car this performance-focused. Pay close attention to cabin condition, electronics, and signs that the car has been driven hard, since the Supra’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim comes with 19-inch wheels, Michelin high-performance tires, LED head- and taillights, remote keyless entry, 14-way sport bucket seats, push-button start, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, a 6.5-inch touchscreen, and a suite of driver-assistance features. The Premium adds heated leather seats, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a head-up display. The Launch Edition is limited to 1,500 examples and is essentially a Premium with unique appearance details.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine with a twin-scroll turbo, 335 horsepower, and 365 pound-feet of torque. An 8-speed automatic sends power to the rear wheels, and there is no manual transmission option.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning with steering assist, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, and rain-sensing wipers. The available Driver Assist Package adds adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The base system uses a 6.5-inch touchscreen, while the Premium and Launch Edition get an 8.8-inch touchscreen, wireless device charging, and wireless Apple CarPlay.
• Fuel efficiency: It returns 24 mpg city, 31 highway, 26 combined.

Which 2020 Toyota Supra trim should I buy?

The 2020 Toyota Supra is offered in 3 trim levels: 3.0 (base), 3.0 Premium, Launch Edition.

Here's the short version:

• 3.0 (base): This is the value play if you want the Supra’s core performance and handling without paying for extras. You still get the standard safety suite, the 6.5-inch touchscreen, and the essential sports-car hardware, so it covers the fundamentals well.
• 3.0 Premium: This is the best-value trim if you want the Supra to feel more complete. It adds heated leather seats, a 12-speaker JBL audio system, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a head-up display, making it the most balanced choice for most shoppers.
• Launch Edition: Choose this if you want the limited-run version with unique appearance details and you value exclusivity. It is basically a Premium with special colors and trim touches, so it makes the most sense for collectors or buyers who want the rarest version.

The available Driver Assist Package adds more advanced safety features, and it is exclusive to the Premium trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Toyota Supra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop carefully and compare listings before moving quickly.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 173 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.79% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 78.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,723, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Toyota Supra's resale value?

The current average of $50,891 sits slightly above last year's $49,998.

That upward move suggests the market has remained supportive of this model year, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. The fact that prices are still above the prior-year average also points to steady buyer interest rather than a softening market.

For a future seller, that means a well-kept example should remain relatively easy to position if it has clean history and strong condition. Sports cars with this kind of enthusiast appeal often hold attention better when they are maintained carefully and presented well.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Toyota Supra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.79% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It returns 24 mpg city, 31 highway, 26 combined, while delivering the performance-focused return of the Supra nameplate.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $47,612, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $50,891 average.
• It adds two new engines, including a more affordable option.

The bottom line: If you want the original return of the modern Supra and value its enthusiast appeal, the 2020 is the one to target. If your priority is spending less and getting more engine choice, the 2021 is the smarter price-sensitive path.
