Used 2020 RAM 3500 for Sale nearCleveland, OH

How much does the 2020 RAM 3500 cost?

Prices have softened 11.21% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 889 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims, mileage, and condition.

Is the 2020 RAM 3500 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 RAM 3500 earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its power and towing capacity, and many also like the comfort of the interior and the advanced features such as the large display. In practical terms, that makes it a strong fit if you want maximum capability without giving up too much comfort or tech. With 32.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 RAM 3500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback highlights dependable performance, especially around power and towing, and many buyers describe it as a truck they can count on for demanding work. At the same time, some owners mention specific mechanical concerns, including the CP4 pump and DPF filter, which can lead to costly maintenance. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable if you verify service history carefully and prioritize well-maintained examples.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 RAM 3500?

At 68.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on mechanical condition, maintenance records, and any signs of heavy-duty use or deferred upkeep. Because some owners have reported costly diesel-related issues, it also makes sense to pay close attention to service documentation and overall condition rather than shopping on price alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 RAM 3500?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 889 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.21% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $44,297, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $44,500 sits slightly below last year's $50,116.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the truck more attractive to used buyers today but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices stay soft. If you buy at the right number and keep the truck in strong condition, you can help protect your resale position. Demand should remain supported by the model's strong owner satisfaction and heavy-duty capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is a strong choice if you want a heavy-duty truck with strong owner satisfaction, solid inventory, and a softer price trend than last year. If you're especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2020 stands out as the better all-around pick when you want capability, comfort, and a market that still offers some negotiating room.
