Used 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 12.65% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 298 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out for offering third-row seating, a practical advantage if you sometimes need extra passenger space, and it adds comfort-focused updates like a smoother ride, more cabin insulation, and rear-seat air vents. It also leans value-oriented, with a standard eight-inch touchscreen on most trims and available features such as roof rails, power-folding mirrors, a sunroof, and blind-spot warning on the SP trim. There are 33.2% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2020 Outlander’s safety reputation is a strength, and its comfort and usability updates help it feel more polished than earlier versions. At the same time, its value retention was hurt by recalls and a mid-pack standing among compact SUVs, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition when shopping used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander?

At 66.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can screen for accidents, title issues, and recurring service gaps. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, since a lower-priced example may still need catch-up maintenance or cosmetic repair.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and pricing softness to reward careful shopping.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 298 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.65% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,876, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $12,876 sits slightly below last year's $14,740.

That decline suggests the model has been under some pricing pressure, which can work against you if you're thinking about future trade-in value. If you buy now, you should expect resale to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A clean history and strong upkeep matter more when a model is already trending lower in the market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better pick if you want the updated comfort and convenience features, plus the value of a lower average price. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a cleaner history or a better-equipped example is available at a similar budget.
