Used 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale nearColumbia, SC

How much does the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 11.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 301 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2020 Outlander stands out for offering third-row seating, a smoother ride, a quieter cabin, and rear-seat air vents, which makes it especially appealing if you want a family-friendly compact SUV with extra practicality. It also leans into value, since it was positioned as a more affordable alternative to some rivals rather than a class leader in polish.

There are 32.2% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2020 Outlander’s appeal comes from its comfort-focused updates, added cabin insulation, and family-friendly features rather than from standout performance. Its four-cylinder powertrain is not especially strong, and it remains less refined than many competitors, so reliability-minded shoppers should weigh everyday livability against those tradeoffs. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a vehicle whose condition or maintenance history does not match its value-focused reputation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander?

At 65.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the listing has any accident history. Focus on overall condition, repair quality, and signs of uneven wear so you can separate a clean, well-kept example from one that may need extra work.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 301 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.69% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,052, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $13,140 sits slightly below last year's $14,880.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Outlander easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price and keep the vehicle in clean condition, you can help protect your future return. The model’s value-oriented positioning can support demand among shoppers who want practicality without paying more for a premium badge.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date version of this model year’s value proposition, the 2020 is the one to target because it combines family-friendly features, a lower average price, and a meaningful share of deal-priced listings. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-priced example rather than the newest one.
