How much does the 2020 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 3.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 441 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2020 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the Q50’s appeal comes from its mix of power, equipment, and value. It offers rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, a seven-speed automatic transmission, and a strong emphasis on standard features, which makes it attractive if you want a luxury sedan with a generous equipment list. It also benefits from a familiar long-running formula, so you know what kind of car you’re shopping for. 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2020 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Q50 is described as generally solid, with a long production run that suggests a proven platform rather than a brand-new design. At the same time, you should keep an eye on known trouble spots such as warped brakes, and 3.0t models have been known to suffer from turbo failures. For used buyers, that means reliability can be a strength, but a careful inspection matters because repair risk can rise if prior maintenance was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 INFINITI Q50?

At 53.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on brakes, turbo-related concerns on 3.0t models, and overall maintenance quality. Condition matters a lot here, because a well-kept Q50 can be a strong value, while a neglected one can erase the savings quickly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 INFINITI Q50?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 441 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.22% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,626, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $18,924 sits slightly below last year's $19,554.

That softer pricing suggests the Q50 is giving up some value over time, which can be good news if you’re buying now but less ideal if you’re planning to sell soon. The current trend also shows that the market is rewarding shoppers, not sellers, so a future resale may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. If you keep the car clean and well documented, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to trade or sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $20,590, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $18,924 average.
• It adds a new Sensory trim and more driver-assist tech.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2020 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. If you want newer features and are willing to pay more, the 2021 is the better secondary path.
