Used 2020 Dodge Journey for Sale nearChicago, IL

How much does the 2020 Dodge Journey cost?

Prices have softened 14.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 701 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Dodge Journey a good car?

Generally — the 4/5 user rating suggests you can feel reasonably confident if the vehicle’s condition and history check out. That kind of score points to a model year that has earned solid approval from owners, even if individual examples can vary.

With 27.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Dodge Journey reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that means reliability risk is more about the specific vehicle you choose than the model year as a whole, so maintenance records and condition matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Dodge Journey?

At 64.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if anything in the report raises questions. Focus especially on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the vehicle’s wear matches its mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Dodge Journey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage but still need to move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 701 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,099, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Dodge Journey's resale value?

The current average of $12,099 sits slightly below last year's $14,084.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale a little more challenging if you buy high and sell soon. If you plan to own the vehicle for a while, the softer entry price may help offset some of that future depreciation. Strong condition and clean history will matter more when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Dodge Journey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing and available inventory, the 2020 is the better starting point. You should focus on well-documented, accident-free examples first, since condition and history will likely separate the best buys from the rest. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a different year may be worth comparing, but the 2020 gives you a reasonable balance of value and shopper choice.
