Used 2020 Dodge Journey for Sale nearAurora, IL

How much does the 2020 Dodge Journey cost?

Prices have softened 13.89% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 626 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Dodge Journey a good car?

Generally — the 4/5 user rating suggests you can feel reasonably confident if the vehicle fits your needs and condition checks come back clean. That puts it in a solid middle ground for shoppers who want value without expecting standout performance in every area.

With 30.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively and still find attractive pricing.

Is the 2020 Dodge Journey reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that means reliability risk is more about the specific vehicle you choose than the model name alone, so maintenance history and current condition matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Dodge Journey?

At 62.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and confirm whether prior damage was cosmetic or structural. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body alignment, tire wear, suspension behavior, and signs of uneven repairs. If the vehicle has higher mileage or inconsistent service records, give condition and maintenance history extra weight in your decision.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Dodge Journey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 626 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.89% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,804, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Dodge Journey's resale value?

The current average of $11,804 sits slightly below last year's $13,708.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future buyers but may limit how much value you recover later. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to soften the impact of further depreciation. A clean history and good maintenance records should matter more if you want to protect resale appeal.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Dodge Journey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2020 if you want the strongest mix of current pricing and available inventory, especially if you can verify a clean history and solid maintenance. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still be worth comparing, but the 2020 gives you a straightforward value-focused starting point.
