The Chrysler Pacifica minivan competes with the Honda Odyssey, Kia Sedona, and Toyota Sienna. For 2020, it gets a simplified lineup with new options. This year sees the Pacifica’s lower trim levels move to a separate model's lineup, the Chrysler Voyager. That leaves just the Touring, Touring L, Touring L Plus, and Limited trims in the Pacifica lineup. The Touring comes with 17-inch wheels, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a power liftgate, power sliding doors, 3-zone automatic climate control, second-row underfloor storage, an 8-way power driver seat, and keyless access and start. Other trims add memory, leather seats, heated front seats, heated second-row seats, an overhead DVD player, and an 8.4-inch infotainment system. The panoramic sunroof and 8-passenger seating are now available on all trims. Also, a new Red S appearance package is available for the Limited trim, bundling red Nappa leather seats with light grey stitching and piping, brushed metal trim, 20-inch wheels, the overhead DVD player, and a 20-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. Every Pacifica comes with a 3.6-liter V6 developing 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. A 9-speed automatic routes power to the front wheels. Fuel economy measures 19 mpg city, 28 highway, and 22 combined. The separate Pacifica Hybrid model increases that fuel economy considerably, along with offering electric-only capability. The Pacifica includes a reversing camera, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic detection, reversing sensors, and reverse emergency braking. An Advanced SafetyTec Group package adds a 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, a parking assistant, rain-sensing wipers, and lane-departure warning. The Pacifica scored a 2019 Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
