Used 2020 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearLos Angeles, CA

How much does the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 15.58% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,606 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, smooth ride, and powerful performance, and many also like its comfort and handling in challenging weather. That fits well if you want a family-focused three-row SUV with generous room, easy-to-use technology, and everyday practicality. With 30.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for comfort, smooth driving, and confidence in challenging weather. Some shoppers do mention concerns about price and potential body damage, so a careful inspection still matters. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s appeal and more about finding one that has been well maintained and not previously compromised.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chevrolet Traverse?

At 66.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, especially if a listing looks unusually well priced. Put inspection priority on body condition, signs of prior repair, and anything that suggests the vehicle may have been in a collision. Because this model is often bought for family use, you should also focus on overall wear, interior condition, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Traverse?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options and enough price movement to reward patience.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,606 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.58% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,934, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $18,934 sits slightly below last year's $22,428.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price and keep the vehicle in good condition, you can reduce the impact of that softer market. Demand should remain supported by the Traverse’s family-friendly space and broad appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,083, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $18,934 average.
• It adds a wider trim lineup for more choice.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2020 is the stronger starting point because it combines lower pricing with solid owner satisfaction and decent deal availability. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer model year and broader trim selection, the 2021 is the better secondary path.
