Used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 5.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,482 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the Colorado’s overview emphasizes capability and value in a midsize pickup package. You get a truck that is more manageable than a full-size pickup, with useful towing ability and a broad trim spread that lets you shop for the setup that fits your needs. The better-equipped versions are the ones that make the strongest case, especially if you want more capability than the base configuration. 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also points to a known concern with early transmission problems in this generation, including recurring complaints about the eight-speed automatic in trucks built from 2014 to 2019 and even some later ones. That means you should pay close attention to service history and how the truck shifts on a test drive. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a truck that has unresolved transmission issues or a hard-used drivetrain.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?

At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was minor or structural. Put the inspection priority on the transmission, since the overview flags recurring issues in this generation, and make sure the truck shifts smoothly in normal and harder acceleration. Focus on overall condition, but give extra weight to drivetrain behavior and maintenance records.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right truck.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,482 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,188, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $22,188 sits slightly below last year's $23,385.

That softer pricing suggests the truck has become a bit easier for buyers to access, which can help demand in the near term. For you as a future seller, that means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and trim than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because the Colorado’s utility and midsize size remain attractive to shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,339, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $22,188 average.
• It emphasizes simple, no-nonsense capability with available diesel and off-road appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2020 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2019 is the more budget-friendly path and still delivers the Colorado’s core strengths.
