Used 2022 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 9.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,918 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and conditions.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth performance, towing capacity, and roomy cabin, and it also stands out as a practical fit for families who want a midsize pickup with real utility. Some owners note that the rear seat can feel cramped for adults, so it works best if you value capability and everyday versatility more than maximum back-seat space. With 32.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as smooth and capable, and the owner feedback points to a truck many people feel good about living with over time. The reliability picture is more mixed than the satisfaction score alone suggests, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and how the truck has aged. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable, but only if you verify condition carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Colorado?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report and confirm there are no accident or title issues before you go any further. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the transmission, cabin electronics, and overall interior condition, since those are the kinds of areas that can separate a clean truck from a costly one. If possible, test the truck in the exact driving conditions you expect to use most, so you can judge how it feels under load and in everyday traffic.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,918 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.87% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,495, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $25,495 sits slightly below last year's $28,287.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the truck in strong condition, you can help protect your future resale position. Trim choice and overall condition will matter a lot when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,340, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $25,495 average.
• It shifts to a redesigned, crew-cab-only layout with more modern standard tech.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2022 if you want a lower entry price, broad inventory, and a proven used-market value proposition. If you care more about the newer redesign and updated standard equipment, the 2023 is the better fit, but you’ll pay significantly more. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2022 is the smarter starting point.
