How much does the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

There are 2,530 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of trucks to compare.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The Colorado stands out as a midsize pickup that blends real utility with a broad range of trims and powertrains, so you can shop it as either a basic workhorse or a more comfortable daily driver. Its appeal is strongest if you want a truck with configurable capability and a wide spread of equipment. 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Colorado’s reliability picture is shaped by its known transmission woes, with recurring problems reported on trucks built from 2014 to 2019 and even a few later ones. That means you should treat condition and service history as especially important when shopping used. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a truck that has already shown signs of drivetrain trouble.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?

At 68.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put the inspection priority on the transmission, since this model line has known issues that can show up as shakes, jerks, clunks, or failure to engage. Focus your condition check on drivetrain behavior, service records, and overall wear before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right truck.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,530 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.52% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,277, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $22,277 sits slightly below last year's $23,331.

That softer pricing suggests the truck has become a bit easier to buy, which can also limit how aggressively you should expect it to appreciate in the near term. For a future seller, the upside is that the Colorado still has broad appeal thanks to its utility and trim range. Well-kept examples should remain easier to move than trucks with questionable history or signs of drivetrain trouble.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,478, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $22,277 average.
• It leans into straightforward usefulness with available diesel and off-road capability.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2020 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2019 is the better secondary path, especially if you value a simpler, utility-first approach.
