Used 2020 Audi Q7 for Sale nearSaint Paul, MN

How much does the 2020 Audi Q7 cost?

Prices have softened 12.91% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,079 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Audi Q7 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious features, smooth and quiet ride, comfort, and driveability, and many also like how it handles well in snowy conditions. The Q7’s refreshed styling, upgraded interior, and updated technology help it feel polished and competitive in the high-end three-row class.

The trade-offs are clear: the third row is cramped, and cargo space is limited. That means the Q7 fits you best if you value refinement, technology, and driving enjoyment more than maximum room.

With 38.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a well-priced example.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling SUV with a smooth, quiet ride and strong everyday livability, and the expert evaluation also highlights the Q7’s well-rounded character and good fuel economy for the class. The 48-volt mild-hybrid system helps conserve fuel by supporting stop/start operation and engine-off coasting, which adds to the sense of efficient, low-drama operation.

Audi also includes a first scheduled maintenance visit that is on the house, which helps reduce early ownership friction.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that luxury-SUV ownership can still bring higher repair and upkeep exposure, so a clean service history matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because a clean history is especially important on a luxury SUV with advanced electronics and driver-assistance systems. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin tech, suspension behavior, and any signs of wear from family use. Focus on whether the vehicle feels well maintained, because the Q7’s appeal depends heavily on condition and equipment working as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Q7 is available in Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trim levels. The Premium Plus and Prestige are the trims that unlock more of the advanced driver-assistance content, while the Prestige adds the most upscale equipment and is the best-value choice if you want the richest feature set.
• Powertrain: The 55 TFSI uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and Quattro all-wheel drive. The 48-volt mild-hybrid system helps conserve fuel, and the SUV is rated at 18 mpg combined.
• Safety package: Audi’s advanced driver-assistance systems include Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centering assistance. These upgrades are tied to the Executive Package on Premium Plus or to the Prestige trim.
• Infotainment: The Q7 uses a 10.1-inch upper touchscreen and an 8.6-inch lower touchscreen, plus natural voice recognition, handwriting recognition, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation with Google Earth imagery, and Audi Connect services with a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says the Q7 should get 18 mpg combined, and the test vehicle averaged 21 mpg on a road trip and 18.1 mpg on a local fuel-economy loop.

Which 2020 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2020 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but you should expect the fewest extras. It makes sense if you want the Q7’s core luxury-SUV experience and standard all-wheel drive without stretching for more equipment.
• Premium Plus: This is the trim to target if you want the best balance of equipment and value, especially because it can be paired with the Executive Package for more advanced driver-assistance features.
• Prestige: This is the most fully equipped version and the best fit if you want the richest cabin, the most convenience features, and the strongest overall luxury feel.

For safety-package shoppers, the Executive Package on Premium Plus or the Prestige trim is where you get the upgraded driver-assistance content.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi Q7?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,079 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.91% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,725, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $23,725 sits slightly below last year's $27,243.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has become more accessible to used buyers, which can help demand from shoppers who want a newer-feeling luxury SUV at a lower entry point. For a future seller, that also means you may be operating in a softer pricing environment than last year, so condition, mileage, and equipment will matter more when you go to list it.

Because the Q7 still has strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal as a refined three-row luxury SUV, well-kept examples should continue to attract interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2020 Audi Q7 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS, and it earns five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi equips the Q7 with Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centering assistance. Those features are part of the upgraded ADAS content available on Premium Plus with the Executive Package or on the Prestige trim.

The main caveat is the headlight result: IIHS rates the HD Matrix LED headlights as poor, which keeps the Q7 from being a cleaner safety standout despite its otherwise strong crash protection.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 update brings refreshed styling, a new high-tech interior layout, and a stronger powertrain and technology package.

The bottom line: The 2020 Q7 is the better pick if you want the refreshed version with updated styling, tech, and powertrain improvements, especially now that prices have eased. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2020’s combination of owner satisfaction, strong expert scoring, and softened pricing makes it the more compelling target for shoppers who want the updated model.
