Used 2020 Audi Q7 for Sale near Maryland

How much does the 2020 Audi Q7 cost?

Prices have softened 13.43% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,063 listings available, which suggests you have a solid pool of used Q7s to compare.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Audi Q7 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious features, smooth and quiet ride, comfort, and driveability, and many also like how it handles well in snowy conditions. On the downside, some owners say it feels overpriced and that storage is inadequate.

That lines up with the Q7’s role as a refreshed midsize luxury SUV that feels upscale and enjoyable to drive, even if it is not the most practical choice for maximum room. The market also shows 40.8% of listings as good or great deals, which adds to the appeal if you find the right example.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with repeated praise for comfort, quietness, and confidence in everyday use. The expert drive notes also emphasize the Q7’s well-rounded character and its ability to deliver responsive acceleration, good fuel economy, and strong towing capability without feeling strained.

The 48-volt mild-hybrid system is described as helping conserve fuel by reducing engine load and supporting extended stop/start operation. Audi also notes that the first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright durability and more about whether the vehicle has been maintained carefully, since luxury features and advanced systems can be costly if neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi Q7?

At 74.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has any accident history. Pay close attention to bodywork, electronics, and how the cabin and driver-assistance systems function, since this Q7 is loaded with technology. It also makes sense to focus on condition and equipment level, because the trim and package mix can change the ownership experience a lot.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Q7 is available in Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trim levels. The higher trims add more upscale equipment and technology, while the base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more standard convenience and safety content.
• Powertrain: The 2020 Q7 lineup includes a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, a mild-hybrid turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, and a performance-tuned SQ7 with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. The V6 is the stronger all-around choice, and the mild-hybrid setup helps conserve fuel.
• Safety package: Audi’s advanced driver-assistance suite includes Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centering assistance. Some of the more advanced features are tied to the Executive Package on Premium Plus or to Prestige.
• Infotainment: The Q7 uses a 10.1-inch upper touchscreen and an 8.6-inch lower touchscreen, plus natural voice recognition, handwriting recognition, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation with Google Earth imagery, and Audi Connect services with a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q7 is rated at 18 mpg combined, and the test vehicle averaged 21 mpg on a road trip and 18.1 mpg on a local fuel-economy loop.

Which 2020 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2020 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Q7 experience with the standard luxury and utility features that make the model appealing. It makes sense if you want the Q7’s basics at the lowest price, but you should expect fewer convenience and safety upgrades than the higher trims.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it opens the door to more advanced driver-assistance content through the Executive Package. If you want a better balance of equipment and price, this is the trim to focus on.
• Prestige: This is the most fully equipped version, adding the richest mix of comfort, tech, and convenience features. It suits you best if you want the most upscale Q7 experience and are willing to pay for it.

The safety-package upgrades are concentrated in Premium Plus with the Executive Package and in Prestige, so shoppers who want the most advanced assistance features should focus there.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi Q7?

The market leans in your favor right now, with softer pricing and a meaningful share of well-priced listings.

• Deal availability: 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,063 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.43% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,243, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $23,243 sits slightly below last year's $26,848.

That decline suggests the Q7 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be good news if you are buying now and planning to sell later. For a future seller, the key question is whether the market stabilizes after this drop or continues to soften. A well-kept example with desirable equipment should still be easier to move than one with accident history or missing features.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2020 Audi Q7 earns a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS, but its headlights are rated poor.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi equips the Q7 with Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist, which includes adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centering assistance. Those systems are part of the Q7’s broader ADAS suite, with some upgrades tied to Premium Plus with the Executive Package or to Prestige.

The main caveat is the headlight result, since IIHS says the HD Matrix LED headlights are poor because of excessive glare to oncoming traffic. The expert drive also notes that the traffic-sign recognition and lane-assist behavior can be irritating in real-world use.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 model year brings a thorough refresh across styling, interior, powertrain, and technology, while staying competitive with other midsize luxury SUVs.

The bottom line: The 2020 Q7 is a smart pick if you want the refreshed design and tech package at a lower used price than many rivals. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to shop carefully for the best-equipped example rather than simply the cheapest one, since the trim and package mix matter a lot here.
