Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. The 2020 A6 stands out for its understated luxury, strong standard equipment, and premium feel without relying on flashy styling. It also suits you well if you want a tech-forward midsize luxury sedan, since it came standard with quattro all-wheel drive, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, dual screens, and semi-autonomous capability. Is the 2020 Audi A6 reliable?

The 2020 A6’s fifth-generation design brought a new chassis, more technology, and a broader equipment list, which can be appealing if you want a modern-feeling luxury sedan. At the same time, the tech-heavy approach was not always perfectly polished, so you should pay close attention to how the systems operate during a test drive. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the electronics and advanced features are working as intended.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi A6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or incomplete repairs. A careful test drive should confirm that the infotainment, screens, and convenience features all work smoothly.

What is the 2020 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $22,312 sits slightly below last year's $25,080.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you may have a better chance of limiting further value loss. The A6’s premium image and strong equipment list can help support demand among used luxury shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,246, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $22,312 average.
• It brings a redesigned, tech-forward feel with a modern MMI system and advanced driver-assistance tech.

The bottom line: the 2020 is the better all-around pick if you want the newer model-year experience and strong market availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2019 is the more budget-friendly alternative and still delivers a modern luxury-sedan feel.
