What is the 2019 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $19,248 sits slightly below last year's $21,358.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the XC60 more appealing to buyers now but may temper short-term resale gains for future sellers. If you buy at a competitive price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell. The model’s strong owner satisfaction can also help support demand in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,151, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $19,248 average.
• The 2018 offers a thoroughly redesigned platform with distinctive Scandinavian style.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of satisfaction, inventory, and pricing, the 2019 is the better primary choice. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the more budget-friendly alternative.
