Yes, this car costs thousands more to start than a base Jetta—but it's worth the money if sharp handling, strong acceleration, and subtle styling tweaks mean something to you. They sure do to me.

For the features you get in terms of tech alone this generation GLI is a great buy. But then you add in the engine/transmission (and a 6MT!!!) and it’s a no brainer.
Fun car for a great price. I will recommend it for someone who wants to have it as a daily car with sport traction and power.
