How much does the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 6.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,781 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its safety features, interior comfort, and reliable, enjoyable driving experience. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a practical small crossover that is easy to live with and well suited to everyday use. With 33.7% of listings priced as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights that it is reliable, enjoyable to drive, and trouble-free in the ways that matter most to used-car shoppers. That kind of praise matters because it suggests the Crosstrek can be a sensible choice if you want a vehicle you can count on over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about how well a specific example has been maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Subaru Crosstrek?

At 68.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus your evaluation on overall condition, repair quality, and signs of wear that could affect long-term ownership costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Subaru Crosstrek?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,781 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,810, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $17,349 sits slightly below last year's $18,466.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, a lower purchase price can reduce your depreciation exposure. The Crosstrek’s steady owner satisfaction should also help support demand when it is time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,913, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $17,349 average.
• It emphasizes rugged practicality and everyday versatility.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the newer model-year pricing context, strong owner satisfaction, and a healthy pool of listings to compare. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better secondary path because it undercuts the current-year average while still delivering the Crosstrek’s core practicality.
