How much does the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 5.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,807 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance, safety features, and interior comfort, and the model’s practical layout fits shoppers who want a compact crossover that works well for everyday use. It also appeals if you value a useful cabin and Subaru’s familiar all-weather approach. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback describes the Crosstrek as reliable, enjoyable to drive, and trouble-free overall, with owners also calling out its dependable nature. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used vehicle you can count on for daily driving and longer ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by hard use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Subaru Crosstrek?

At 68.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch hidden body, suspension, or repair issues. Focus closely on overall condition, especially signs of prior collision work, uneven panel gaps, and any wear that suggests the car has had a tougher life than average.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Subaru Crosstrek?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep buyer’s-market discount.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,807 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,810, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $17,040 sits slightly below last year's $17,989.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, condition and mileage will matter even more because buyers will compare your car against a fairly active used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,784, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $17,040 average.
• It emphasizes rugged practicality and a durable, versatile feel.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall ownership signal and are comfortable shopping carefully, the 2019 is the better primary pick. If your top priority is spending less up front, the 2018 is the more budget-friendly alternative.
