Used 2019 RAM 2500 for Sale near Colorado

How much does the 2019 RAM 2500 cost?

Prices have softened 8.06% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,529 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and conditions.

Is the 2019 RAM 2500 a good car?

Yes — the 4.58/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the truck’s performance, comfort, towing capability, smooth ride quality, and upscale interior features, while also noting its strong value for the features offered. For you, that means this model year fits especially well if you want a heavy-duty truck that can work hard and still feel refined. With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 RAM 2500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.58/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a truck that feels dependable in daily use, with praise for its powerful Cummins diesel engine and overall capability. That kind of feedback matters if you plan to keep the truck for the long haul, because it suggests many owners feel confident relying on it for demanding work and towing. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the truck’s core appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not overworked.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 RAM 2500?

At 71.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from trucks with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, frame, suspension, and towing-related wear, since this is a heavy-duty truck that may have seen hard use. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and maintenance records, especially if you are considering a diesel-equipped truck or one with higher mileage.

What is the 2019 RAM 2500's resale value?

The current average of $36,584 sits slightly below last year's $39,794.

That decline suggests the market has become a bit more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now and keep the truck in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it is time to resell. Trucks with broad appeal and strong owner satisfaction tend to hold buyer interest better, especially when they combine capability with comfort.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.58/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 RAM 2500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.58/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $38,278, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $36,584 average.
• It adds a more luxurious and innovative feel with stronger emphasis on upscale technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2019 is the smarter starting point because it combines strong owner satisfaction with a softer market price. If you are willing to pay more for a newer truck with a more polished luxury-and-tech presentation, the 2020 is the better secondary path.
