Used 2019 MINI Countryman for Sale nearPalm Desert, CA

How much does the 2019 MINI Countryman cost?

Prices have softened 8.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 306 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 MINI Countryman a good car?

Yes — the 2019 MINI Countryman earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out by blending MINI’s retro personality with the practicality of a small SUV, and it gives you more rear passenger space and cargo capacity than MINI’s smaller vehicles. That makes it a fit if you want something more distinctive than a conventional crossover while still keeping everyday usefulness. With 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 MINI Countryman reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 MINI Countryman’s appeal comes from its distinctive character, broad personalization options, and practical small-SUV packaging. The overview also notes trade-offs such as a stiff ride, weak base engines, and cargo capacity that trails rivals, so reliability-minded shoppers should focus on how well each used example has been maintained and whether its condition matches its mileage and price. For long-term ownership, a well-kept example is the safer path because neglected maintenance can quickly erode the value of a car with this much personality.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 MINI Countryman?

At 73.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on every candidate and prioritize examples with clean records and consistent maintenance. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important here, since condition can vary widely across used listings and you want to confirm that the car’s mechanical and cosmetic state matches the asking price. Pay close attention to signs of prior damage, uneven wear, and any repairs that suggest the vehicle has had a harder life than the listing implies.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 MINI Countryman?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 306 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.22% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 73.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,895, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 MINI Countryman's resale value?

The current average of $15,666 sits slightly below last year's $17,069.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean future resale gains are limited unless you choose carefully. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter more because buyers tend to reward clean, well-kept examples when the broader market is softening. A lower entry price can help offset depreciation, but you should still expect resale value to depend heavily on how well the car is preserved.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 MINI Countryman or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2019 is the one to focus on first. It gives you a lower average price than the prior year and a strong user rating, while still delivering the Countryman’s distinctive style and practical small-SUV packaging. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can widen your search to nearby years, but the 2019 is a sensible primary target when you want a used Countryman with a favorable market position.
