It also brings a fluid exterior design, premium materials, multiple interior color choices, real wood trim, and available touches like Kiriko Glass ornamentation and hand-folded door-trim pleats. The 2019 Lexus LS is presented as a refined full-size luxury sedan with a strong emphasis on premium materials, advanced features, and a well-equipped cabin. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the car’s luxury features and technology have been maintained properly over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Lexus LS?

At 66.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the car’s structural and cosmetic condition. Pay close attention to signs of prior bodywork, uneven panel gaps, wheel or suspension wear, and the condition of the cabin’s premium materials and electronics. Because this model leans heavily on luxury features, you’ll want to make sure everything works as intended, not just that the car looks clean.

What is the 2019 Lexus LS's resale value?

The current average of $41,708 sits slightly above last year's $41,127.

That modest increase suggests the market has held up reasonably well for this model year. If you buy carefully and keep the car in strong condition, you may be able to preserve value better than with a less distinctive luxury sedan. The combination of premium positioning and steady pricing can help support future demand, especially if the car has a clean history and desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lexus LS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.41% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $37,441, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $41,708 average.
• It emphasizes quiet comfort and composed handling.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year pricing context and a strong satisfaction signal, the 2019 is the better starting point. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2018 is the more budget-friendly path and still offers the LS’s core luxury appeal.
