How much does the 2019 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 12.20% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,078 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2019 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Generally — the 4.33/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its fun driving experience, power, and outdoorsy appeal, and they also value its off-road capability and reliability. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a vehicle with serious trail character and a distinctive personality rather than maximum comfort or everyday practicality. With 36.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2019 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights reliability, dependable off-road use, and trouble-free ownership for adventure-focused driving. That said, used buyers should still think about long-term ownership risk carefully, especially if the vehicle has seen hard use or inconsistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Jeep Wrangler?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of off-road wear, prior damage, or uneven maintenance. Pay extra attention to overall condition, since a Wrangler’s appeal often depends on how well it has been used and cared for. A thorough pre-purchase inspection is especially important if you plan to drive it regularly or take it off pavement.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Jeep Wrangler?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,078 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.20% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 76.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,683, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $23,683 sits slightly below last year's $26,974.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Strong examples should still draw interest because the Wrangler name remains highly recognizable and desirable.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $21,232, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $23,683 average.
• It was thoroughly rebooted while still feeling unmistakably like a Wrangler.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $25,142, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $23,683 average.
• It adds a new diesel engine, broadening the powertrain lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and market availability, the 2019 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter, the 2018 is the better secondary option because it undercuts the current-year average while keeping the Wrangler’s core appeal.
