How much does the 2019 Jeep Cherokee cost?

There are 4,842 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Jeep Cherokee earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its comfort, smooth ride, and feature content, and many also highlight the spacious interior and value for money. The 2019 refresh adds a more modern look and useful everyday equipment, which makes it a practical fit if you want a compact SUV with familiar Jeep character. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of attractive options to shop.

Is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as comfortable, smooth, and dependable in everyday use, and many comments point to a trouble-free ownership experience when the vehicle is well maintained. The strongest reliability takeaway is that you should focus on service history and how the vehicle has aged over time, especially if you plan to keep it for the long haul. For used buyers, that means the biggest ownership risk is not just mileage, but whether the specific vehicle has been cared for consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Jeep Cherokee?

At 68.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage or repeated claims. Then prioritize a thorough inspection and test drive, with extra attention to how the transmission feels and whether the vehicle behaves smoothly in normal driving. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and any signs that the SUV has been repaired well after past damage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,842 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,510, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $14,510 sits slightly below last year's $16,089.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale more sensitive to condition, mileage, and maintenance history. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned than a shopper who pays too much up front. A clean history and strong presentation matter more when the market is already pricing the model below its prior-year level.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a smart primary choice if you want the refreshed look and stronger feature set, especially if you can find a clean, well-priced example. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth considering, but you should still compare condition, history, and equipment closely before deciding.
