How much does the 2019 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 8.15% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,270 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, comfortable second and third rows, and family-friendly features, while the roomy cabin and easy-to-use tech make it a practical fit for daily use. The 2019 Pilot is especially appealing if you want a sensible, comfort-first three-row SUV rather than something sporty. With 35.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback highlights a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centered on comfort, space, and everyday usefulness. That said, some owners mention minor soundproofing and transmission performance concerns, so you should still pay attention to maintenance history and test-drive behavior. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is buying a neglected example rather than a fundamentally weak one.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Honda Pilot?

At 65.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body condition, panel alignment, and signs of past repairs. You should also focus on how the transmission feels on the road and whether the cabin shows signs of heavy family use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Pilot?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,270 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.15% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,383, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $20,384 sits slightly below last year's $22,194.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also suggests resale values have eased compared with a year ago. If you plan to sell later, the current market gives you a useful benchmark for setting expectations. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,299, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $20,384 average.
• It adds a more refined package of standard safety and everyday family usefulness.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2019 if you want the better value and are willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer model year’s added refinement, the 2020 is the better secondary path for buyers who prioritize a newer purchase over upfront savings.
