How much does the 2019 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 5.97% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,685 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Honda Accord a good car?

Generally — the 2019 Honda Accord earns a 4.4/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its stylish design, luxurious interior, and excellent reliability, and many also highlight the smooth ride and impressive fuel economy. The roomy cabin and comfortable, spacious cockpit make it especially appealing if you want a practical midsize sedan that still feels upscale. With 32.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback repeatedly calls out excellent reliability, and it also describes the car as dependable and trouble-free in everyday use. That kind of long-term praise matters if you want a used sedan you can count on for regular commuting and family duty. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained well over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Honda Accord?

At 51.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, since prior damage can affect value, repairs, and future resale. A pre-purchase inspection is also worth prioritizing so you can check for bodywork quality, mechanical wear, and signs of uneven maintenance. Focus on overall condition first, then compare mileage, service records, and asking price against similar listings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,685 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.97% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 51.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,344, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $18,344 sits slightly below last year's $19,508.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit near-term appreciation for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, holding onto a well-kept example with strong records will matter more when the market is softer. A clean history and good condition should help you preserve more of your value when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 51.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.97% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,793, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $18,344 average.
• It emphasizes roomy practicality with a more engaging driving character.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $19,580, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $18,344 average.
• It adds modern tech and a polished, upscale feel.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market availability. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2018 is the smarter budget path; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling package, the 2020 is the upgrade route.
