Used 2019 GMC Acadia for Sale nearSaint Petersburg, FL

How much does the 2019 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 11.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,513 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 GMC Acadia a good car?

Generally — 4.4/5 from owners and 8/10 from expert testing point to a well-liked SUV with broad appeal. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, stylish design, and family-friendly interior. The overview also frames it as a more upscale, distinctive three-row SUV that feels less utilitarian than many rivals.

That said, it is not the roomiest choice in the segment, so it fits you best if you want a refined midsize SUV rather than maximum space. 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction. Review feedback points to a dependable, smooth-driving SUV that many owners feel good about living with over time.

The expert drive notes also describe it as a well-balanced daily driver with solid driving dynamics and a powertrain that feels strong in regular use. On the ownership side, the maintenance perk language highlights that the first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic durability and more about finding a well-kept example that avoids known owner complaints and deferred maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 GMC Acadia?

At 65.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the vehicle has been maintained consistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SL covers the basics with 17-inch painted aluminum wheels, 7-passenger seating, remote keyless entry, 3-zone climate control, and heated power side mirrors. Higher trims add features like LED headlights, a power liftgate, heated front seats, a premium Bose audio system, and more driver-assistance equipment, so the lower trims can feel sparse if you want more convenience and safety content.
• Powertrain: Two engines are offered: a 193-hp inline four-cylinder and a 310-hp 3.6-liter V6. The four-cylinder is FWD-only, while the V6 is available with FWD or AWD and delivers much stronger acceleration; the AWD system also adds selectable drive modes.
• Safety package: Driver Alert Package 1 adds blind-spot warning, lane-change alert, and rear park assist. Driver Alert Package 2 adds low-speed forward automatic braking, lane-departure warning, pedestrian detection, forward-collision alert, adaptive headlights and high beams, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors. Some of this equipment is optional on lower trims rather than standard.
• Infotainment: The base setup uses a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, five USB ports, and a WiFi hotspot. Higher trims move to an 8-inch screen, and the Denali adds navigation plus a larger driver display.
• Fuel efficiency: The base four-cylinder FWD setup returns 21 mpg city, 26 highway, and 23 combined. The V6 AWD setup is rated at 17/25/20, and the expert drive observed 19.8 mpg in mixed driving.

Which 2019 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2019 GMC Acadia is offered in 6 trim levels: SL, SLE-1, SLE-2, SLT-1, SLT-2, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• SL: This is the least expensive way into the Acadia, but it is mainly about covering the basics. You get the core family-hauler layout and standard infotainment, yet many shoppers will want to move up for more convenience and safety content.
• SLE-1: This trim adds signature LED headlights, carpeted floor mats, and SiriusXM satellite radio, and it opens the door to more option packages. It makes sense if you want a modest step up without jumping too far in price.
• SLE-2: This trim adds a power liftgate, fog lights, roof rails, an 8-way power driver’s seat, heated front seats, and remote engine start. It is a stronger value if you want everyday convenience features without going all the way to the SLT line.
• SLT-1: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it makes much of the desirable content standard, including a Bose premium stereo, more driver-assistance features, heated and auto-dimming mirrors, and a larger touchscreen. CarGurus recommends this trim, and it is the sweet spot if you want the Acadia’s upscale feel without overpaying.
• SLT-2: This trim adds more driver-assistance features, heated rear seats, and front-seat memory settings. Choose it if you want a more fully equipped family SUV and are willing to pay for the extra comfort and safety content.
• Denali: This is the luxury-focused choice, with chrome-heavy styling, hands-free power tailgate, navigation, HID headlights, leather-appointed seating, and a more upscale instrument display. It suits you best if you want the most premium Acadia experience.

The safety-package trims are worth paying attention to: Driver Alert Package 1 appears on SLT-1 and is optional on SLE-2, while Driver Alert Package 2 comes on SLT-2.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 GMC Acadia?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,513 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,942, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $16,942 sits slightly below last year's $19,047.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price now, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

Condition and trim matter a lot here: a clean, well-equipped Acadia should be easier to move than a rough example with accident history or missing desirable features. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2019 GMC Acadia safe?

The 2019 GMC Acadia earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes standard with front- and side-impact airbags, a reversing camera, and traction control. Driver Alert Package 1 adds blind-spot warning, lane-change alert, and rear park assist, while Driver Alert Package 2 adds low-speed forward automatic braking, lane-departure warning, pedestrian detection, forward-collision alert, adaptive headlights and high beams, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors.

Some of that driver-assistance content is not standard on lower trims, so you should verify exactly which package a used listing includes. The expert safety score reflects a solid but not class-leading safety setup.

Should I buy a 2019 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2019 stands out for its upscale cabin and strong daily-driving balance.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,214, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $16,942 average.
• It broadens V6 availability and improves third-row legroom.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $19,761, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $16,942 average.
• It adds bolder styling, a new AT4 trim, and updated technology.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of price, refinement, and available equipment, the 2019 is the strongest all-around pick. If your budget is tighter, the 2018 can save you money, while the 2020 makes sense if you want the newer styling and added features.
