How much does the 2019 Ford Transit Cargo cost?

Prices have softened 5.35% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,019 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2019 Ford Transit Cargo a good car?

Generally — the 2019 Ford Transit Cargo earns a 4.3/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its spacious interior, power, and reliability, and many describe it as a solid choice compared with competitors. Fair pricing and American manufacturing also come up as recurring positives. With 27.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Ford Transit Cargo reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights reliability, and it also describes the van as a solid choice that many drivers feel they can count on. That said, some owners mention issues such as a broken side door latch and limitations in the back door hinges. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk looks manageable, but you should pay close attention to wear items and door operation before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford Transit Cargo?

At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from vans with prior damage. Then prioritize a hands-on inspection of the doors, latches, hinges, and any signs of heavy commercial use. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, especially if the van has high mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford Transit Cargo?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,019 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.35% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,431, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford Transit Cargo's resale value?

The current average of $19,431 sits slightly below last year's $20,529.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if the market stays steady. If you plan to sell later, condition and mileage will matter a lot because buyers will likely compare your van against similarly priced listings. A well-kept example should still hold appeal, especially if it has the kind of owner satisfaction that keeps demand healthy.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Transit Cargo or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,363, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $19,431 average.
• It adds updated powertrain options and standard safety tech.

The bottom line: If you want the lower-cost path, the 2019 is the better starting point because it combines softer pricing with decent deal availability. If you can stretch your budget and want a newer setup with more modern equipment, the 2020 is the stronger upgrade path.
