How much does the 2019 Ford Expedition cost?

Is the 2019 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Ford Expedition earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, smooth ride, and luxurious features, and many also appreciate its performance and safety aspects, especially the turning radius and cargo space. With 35.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as spacious, smooth, and luxurious, and those positive impressions often align with dependable day-to-day ownership. The feedback also suggests you can count on it for family use and comfort over time, even if some shoppers note fuel economy and towing tradeoffs. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk looks manageable, but condition and maintenance history still matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford Expedition?

At 72.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for bodywork, alignment, and signs of uneven wear. Focus on overall condition and documentation, because the best used example will be the one with the clearest history and the cleanest presentation.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford Expedition?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,646 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.23% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,629, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $22,629 sits slightly below last year's $26,080.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price and keep the vehicle in excellent condition, you can improve your odds of holding value better than the average listing. Demand should remain supported by the model's strong owner satisfaction and family-friendly appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,256, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $22,629 average.
• It offers a redesigned package with more room, comfort, and towing strength.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $25,588, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $22,629 average.
• It adds even more cargo room and towing capability.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2019 if you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better value path; if you want more capability and can spend more, the 2020 is the stronger upgrade path.
