How much does the 2019 Ford Expedition cost?

Prices have softened 13.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,683 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2019 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — 4.85/5 is a strong user rating, and owners consistently praise the spacious interior, smooth ride, and luxurious features. The review summary also points to strong performance and safety impressions, along with practical strengths like cargo space and turning radius. For you, that means this model fits especially well if you want a full-size SUV that prioritizes family comfort and everyday usability. With 35.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 4.85/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback emphasizes a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with repeated praise for comfort, space, and overall satisfaction over time. That kind of response usually matters most when you plan to keep a used SUV for years, because it suggests fewer regrets after the purchase. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by heavy family use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford Expedition?

At 73% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on body panels, alignment, suspension feel, and signs of uneven wear. Because this is a large family SUV, focus on overall condition and evidence of consistent maintenance rather than just mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford Expedition?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,683 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 73.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,930, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $22,930 sits slightly below last year's $26,439.

That price movement tells you the market has softened, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of that depreciation. Demand should remain supported by the model’s family-friendly space and comfort appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.85/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.85/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,677, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $22,930 average.
• It offers more room and towing strength for traditional full-size SUV buyers.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $26,276, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $22,930 average.
• It adds more cargo room and stronger all-around capability.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and current market availability, the 2019 is the primary year to target. If your budget is tighter, the 2018 is the better value play. If you need more capability and are willing to pay more, the 2020 is the stronger upgrade path.
