How much does the 2019 Ford EcoSport cost?

Prices have softened 9.20% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,222 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Ford EcoSport a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Ford EcoSport earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Drivers commonly praise its comfortable ride, value-packed appeal, nice features, handling, and economical fuel usage. That lines up well with its city-friendly, budget-minded positioning and its practical cargo space for a small SUV.

If you want an easy-to-live-with urban runabout with useful features and straightforward utility, this model year fits that use case well. The market also shows 30.8% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Ford EcoSport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a comfortable, value-packed small SUV that feels economical to live with, and those are the kinds of traits buyers often associate with dependable day-to-day ownership. The recurring praise for its comfort and value suggests it can be a reassuring choice if you want a simple, practical vehicle.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure you choose a well-kept example, since condition and maintenance history matter more than the badge on a budget SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford EcoSport?

At 70% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch hidden bodywork, alignment, or repair issues. Focus closely on overall condition, since accident history can affect how the vehicle drives, wears, and holds value.

It also makes sense to compare multiple listings side by side so you can separate clean, well-maintained examples from cheaper cars that may carry more risk.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford EcoSport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,222 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.20% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 70.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,728, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford EcoSport's resale value?

The current average of $11,728 sits slightly below last year's $12,917.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your future resale position.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford EcoSport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 70% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $10,750, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $11,728 average.
• It emphasizes affordability and city-friendly maneuverability.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall shopping case, the 2019 is the better primary target because it combines solid owner satisfaction with a softer market and meaningful deal availability. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better secondary path, especially if you can live with its more basic appeal.
