How much does the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan cost?

Is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan a good car?

Yes — the 4.63/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. You get a practical, value-focused minivan with a roomy interior, easy entry and exit, and seating that works well for passengers and cargo. Owner feedback also repeatedly highlights the smooth ride, the versatility of the Stow ’n Go seating, and the strong value for the price. With 29.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.63/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback specifically points to the Grand Caravan as dependable for everyday family use, with praise centered on its practical layout, smooth ride, and trouble-free versatility when switching between people-moving and cargo duty. The same feedback also suggests buyers value it for long-term usefulness rather than flash.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that age-related wear can matter more than the badge itself, so condition and maintenance history should carry a lot of weight.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan?

At 64.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention on brakes, body condition, and signs of wear that could affect long-term ownership. Because this model is valued for utility, you want to make sure the cabin, seating, and cargo features still work as intended.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,673 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.30% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,117, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $12,117 sits slightly below last year's $13,360.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some of its depreciation, which can help future sellers avoid the steepest part of the value drop. If you buy well and keep the van in good condition, you may be able to limit how much value it loses from here. Demand should remain tied to shoppers who want maximum utility at a lower price point.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.63/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.63/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, practicality, and owner satisfaction, the 2019 is the right place to start. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019's stronger market position and broad appeal.
