There are 1,962 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Dodge Durango earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, powerful performance, and family-friendly features, and many also like its stylish design and smooth driving experience. With its seven-seat layout and everyday usability, it fits well if you want a roomy SUV that still has a more muscular personality than many rivals. The market also shows 29.6% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as reliable and dependable, and the review summary also points to a vehicle many drivers feel comfortable counting on for family use. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition, since long-term ownership risk depends heavily on how each individual SUV was cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Dodge Durango?

At 63.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch hidden body, suspension, or mechanical issues. Focus on condition details that matter most in a used SUV: signs of prior repair, uneven wear, and whether the cabin and exterior match the mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Durango?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,962 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.43% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,689, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $18,689 sits slightly below last year's $21,343.

That price movement suggests the Durango has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintain the vehicle well, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell. Strong demand for a roomy, powerful three-row SUV can also help support values, especially for well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,570, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $18,689 average.
• It adds Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a more modern cabin.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $20,682, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $18,689 average.
• It offers strong engine choices and a more performance-focused personality.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a balance of price, owner satisfaction, and broad usability. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2018 is the smarter value play; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling option, the 2020 is the next step up.
