Is the 2019 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Dodge Durango earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, powerful performance, and family-friendly features, while also appreciating its stylish design and smooth driving experience. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a three-row SUV that balances everyday usefulness with a more muscular personality. With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a reliable, dependable feel for buyers who want a vehicle they can count on over time. The same owner comments that highlight its family-friendly strengths also suggest it can serve well as a long-term daily driver. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is making sure a specific example has been maintained well, since condition can vary widely from one listing to another.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Dodge Durango?

At 62.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage or repeated claims. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on body condition, paint quality, and signs of uneven wear. Because this model is often chosen for family use, you should also focus on how well the cabin, electronics, and overall condition have held up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Durango?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,922 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.66% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,632, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $18,632 sits slightly below last year's $21,333.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. If you plan to resell later, the current pricing trend means your future value will depend heavily on how well the vehicle is maintained and how clean its history is. A well-kept example should be easier to move than one with accident history or visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,504, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $18,632 average.
• It adds Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a more modern cabin setup.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $20,672, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $18,632 average.
• It adds more performance-focused appeal and a broader muscle-car personality.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2019 if you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better value play; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling alternative, the 2020 is the natural step up.
