How much does the 2019 Dodge Challenger cost?

There are 1,777 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 4.91/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its power, stylish design, and comfortable ride, and many appreciate the old-school muscle-car feel paired with modern features. For you, that means the Challenger can work well if you want a coupe with personality, usable tech, and broad appeal across cruising and performance-focused use cases. With 28.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.91/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a car that many owners feel good about living with over time, especially because they describe it as dependable in the ways that matter for everyday enjoyment. The recurring praise for comfort and the strong emotional appeal of the car suggest that many buyers feel confident sticking with it long term.

For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the model’s appeal and more about how each individual car was treated, maintained, and driven.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Dodge Challenger?

At 58.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has performance upgrades, signs of hard use, or inconsistent maintenance. Focus on overall condition, because a well-kept example is likely to be a much better ownership experience than one that simply looks good in photos.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Challenger?

If you find a listing below $24,431, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $24,431 sits slightly below last year's $24,716.

That modest decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. Clean, well-kept examples should hold up better than average because shoppers in this segment tend to reward strong presentation and clear ownership history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.91/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.91/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $28,956, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $24,431 average.
• It adds a 50th Anniversary package for some trims.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2019 is the stronger starting point because it combines lower pricing with solid owner satisfaction and decent deal availability. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model year and a small feature refresh, the 2020 is the better secondary path.
