Used 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD for Sale nearDenver, CO

How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD cost?

Prices have softened 7.14% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 592 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the Silverado 3500HD’s overview points to a heavy-duty truck that combines serious capability with a more modern feature set than many work-focused rigs. You also get a roomy cabin, multiple cab and bed configurations, and useful tech such as an available 8-inch digital driver display, an 8-inch touchscreen, OnStar with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and driver-assist features like lane departure warnings and forward collision alerts. For you, that means this truck makes the most sense if you want a capable hauler that still feels reasonably well equipped for daily use. 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also notes that this generation’s reputation for reliability was mixed, so you should treat condition and maintenance history as especially important on the used market. For long-term ownership, that means the safest buys are the trucks with clear service records and evidence of careful use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD?

At 68.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to signs of hard towing, uneven wear, and overall maintenance quality. Because this is a heavy-duty truck, condition matters as much as configuration, so focus on how the truck was used rather than just how it was equipped.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right truck.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 592 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,878, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD's resale value?

The current average of $40,327 sits slightly below last year's $43,428.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give buyers more leverage today, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well and keep the truck in strong condition, you can help protect your exit value later. Trucks with clear history and strong demand tend to hold attention better when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

You should lean toward the 2019 if you want a heavy-duty Silverado with a modern feature set and you’re willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If your priority is maximizing value, the 2019 is appealing because prices have eased and there are enough listings to compare. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented truck rather than chasing the newest badge.
