How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze cost?

With 738 listings available, you have a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze a good car?

The 2019 Chevrolet Cruze is a balanced choice if you want a compact sedan that feels more substantial and better equipped than many rivals, and its 3/5 user rating suggests a mixed but workable ownership experience. It stands out for its broad feature set, uncommon powertrain choices, and a cabin that could be fitted with comforts such as navigation, dual-zone climate control, and multi-stage heated seats in upper trims. It also makes sense if you value a comfortable ride and solid road feel over outright speed, since the car was described as slow and its tech was considered dated by modern standards. With 28.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze reliable?

The 2019 Chevrolet Cruze was described as well-built and safe, with 10 airbags standard and a strong emphasis on everyday comfort and livability. Chevrolet also made it easier to live with by standardizing the seven-inch touchscreen and allowing the driver to disable the stop-start system. That combination points to a car that can be a sensible used buy if you want a compact sedan with a reassuring safety setup and a generally polished feel. For long-term ownership, you should still budget for careful maintenance and a thorough pre-purchase check, since any used car can become costly if prior wear or neglected upkeep is hiding underneath the surface.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Cruze?

At 56.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the car’s structural and mechanical condition. Focus on signs of prior bodywork, uneven panel gaps, tire wear, and any issues with electronics or drivability, since condition matters more when a large portion of the market has accident history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Cruze?

This looks like a selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings if you know what to target.

• Deal availability: 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 738 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.22% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,398, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze's resale value?

The current average of $10,569 sits slightly below last year's $11,152.

That softer pricing suggests the Cruze has moved into a more buyer-friendly position, which can help you if you are shopping now but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of the current market softness. For a future seller, the key will be preserving condition and maintenance records so your car stands out in a market where prices have already eased.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.22% compared with last year.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $9,854, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $10,569 average.
• It offers a distinctive diesel option for buyers who want something different from the usual compact sedan.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the better-equipped, more refined version with a softer market price and a broader feature set. If your top priority is spending less up front, the 2018 is the better value play, especially if its niche diesel appeal fits your needs.
